With your HTML knowledge, you have a solid foundation for working with markup languages. However, unlike HTML, XML is more flexible, allowing you to create custom tags to store and share data across different systems. This course introduces the fundamentals of XML and its related technologies so that you can create your own markup documents.

Course Objective

You will create markup documents using XML and its related technologies.

Web developers using non-XML tools such as Flash, HTML, ColdFusion, and Java, who now want to incorporate XML technology. Desktop publishers wanting to migrate to an XML-based publishing solution. Self-taught XML developers who want to use XML efficiently.
