Students will learn the basics of creating and revising business documents using Word in Office XP.
Windows Introduction or equivalent knowledge. This course assumes that you are familiar with personal computers and have used a mouse and keyboard. You should be at home in the Windows environment and able to use Windows to manage information on your computer. Specifically, you should be able to navigate to information stored on the computer, manage files and folders, and work with multiple windows at the same time.
Students will be able to create, edit, format, add tables and graphics to, and print basic business documents using Word.
Someone who is comfortable with the Windows environment, and who needs to learn the basics of Word.
Word 2003 Introduction is the first course in this series. Word 2002 (XP) Intermediate, the next course in this series, teaches students how to use intermediate features of Word 2002 (XP). Students who want to learn advanced features can take Word 2002 (XP) Advanced.
