Lotus Notes 5.0: Database Features
Course Overview
Students will learn how to use the basic database features in Notes 5.0.
Prerequisites
Windows 95 Introduction, Windows 98 Making the Transition, or Windows NT Workstation 4.0 Orientation, or equivalent knowledge.
Benefits
Students will learn how to get the most out of shared databases in Notes 5.0. They will learn how to create, enhance, search, and organize documents by using the wealth of features offered by Notes. Students will also learn how to use Notes from a remote location to access essential information from anywhere.
Target Student
Students enrolling in this course should understand the basic concepts involved in working with a personal computer (PC). Students should also be familiar with Windows and with using a mouse.
What's Next
Notes 5.0 Database Features focuses on database functions. Notes 5.0 Mail Features focuses on mail. Students can enroll in either Notes 5.0 Mail Features or Notes 5.0 Database Features as their introductory Notes 5.0 course. One class does not build on the other. Students who want to learn advanced features can take Notes 5.0 Advanced.
