You know how to compile and run Java™ programs that use a simple, command-line interface. Now you're ready to enhance your skills and discover how to create GUI windowing applications.

Course Objective

This course will provide you with the skills needed to create GUI applications using Java AWT. In addition, this course will enable you to create windows with AWT containers and components, menuing systems, and applications that draw graphics and images. Possessing a thorough knowledge of Java AWT enables you to create visually-appealing, easy-to-use, and platform-independent GUI applications.
