This course will introduce students to the basics of creating, editing, and publishing pages that include text and pictures to an intranet or the World Wide Web.
Students should understand the Windows environment, word processing, and how to use a Web browser. They should have attended Windows Introduction, Word 2002 Introduction and Word 2002 Intermediate, and Internet Introduction courses, or have equivalent experience. Recommended but not required HTML Web Authoring Introduction. It is also recommended that students have experience surfing the World Wide Web.
Students will create webs and web pages; apply text formatting; insert and format tables; create hyperlinks between and within pages; create links to the World Wide Web; add navigation bars; insert and modify images; use FrontPage tools to review and edit web content; and publish a web.
Anyone needing the fundamental skills necessary to create, edit, and publish pages that include text and pictures to an intranet or the World Wide Web.
FrontPage 2002 Introduction is the first course in this series. FrontPage 2002 Advanced, the next course in this series, teaches students how to use the advanced features of FrontPage 2000 and other web-based components.
