Adobe Flash

About Flash

Adobe Flash is a powerful application which is predominantly used to create animations, games, and interactive website objects. Adobe Flash Player is then required in order to view and play the creations. Further to creating animated media, Flash is also used to stream advertisements and video and audio players to web pages. Flash allows users to manipulate text and vector graphics into becoming animations, the user can also add sound and video via microphone and camera. Adobe Flash offers valuable integration with Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects software; which can provide the user increase versatility and productivity in their work. Flash has a wide range of useful tools and is currently an industry-leading application for multimedia and animation. Not only does it offer the tools for turning still images and typesetting into animations, but it also offers advanced drawing tools which can be used to create precise designs and shapes. Keeping up with modern technological advances, Flash provides efficient mobile development workflows, and the ability to manage FLA project files which are targeted towards a multiple of devices, such as tablets and smart phones. The ActionScript editor enables users to streamline development, with custom class code hinting and code completion.

Flash is perhaps not the easiest Adobe application to master, and beginners will need some training, particularly if they want to utilise the software to its full potential.
