Students will learn various advanced techniques for analyzing and manipulating data and to use the list-management capabilities in Excel 2000.
Excel 2000 Intermediate, or equivalent knowledge.
Students will learn how to add graphics to a worksheet or chart, perform advanced filters and queries on data, create advanced formulas, link files, consolidate data, and record macros.
Students should already understand basic concepts involved in using Excel 2000. For example, they should be familiar with data types (text and values), copying data, basic formulas and functions, and opening and saving files.
For those wishing to create and edit custom macros, and gain an understanding of VBA code, Excel 2000 VBA Programming is the next course in the series.
