Crystal Reports 8 Introduction

Course Overview

Students will learn the basics of report creation including sorting, grouping, linking, basic formula creation, working with report experts and how to distribute reports to other users.

Prerequisites

No prior knowledge of the product is required, but a good understanding of Relational Databases would be beneficial.

Benefits

Students will learn how to create basic reports that include linking, formulas, working with sections, selection criteria and report distribution.

Target student

This course is designed for users with little or no experience with Crystal Reports but who have the need to generate reports based on data available to them. Although no database experience is necessary, some of the concepts may be more meaningful if the user has worked with database applications before. A basic knowledge of relational data concepts is also recommended.
