Crystal Reports 8 Advanced

Course Overview

Students will learn how to create advanced formulas, format reports based on calculation results, use multiple sections, insert subreports, access data from sources other than PC databases, and create user libraries.

Prerequisites

Students should have attended the Crystal Reports 8 Introduction course, and should preferably have a minimum of three months hands-on experience using Crystal Reports in a working environment.

Target student

Users wishing to move on to a higher level of reporting skills to produce reports from external data sources, for example Access, SQL, Oracle etc. This course is designed for users who require the use of advanced formulas and formatting, need to access information that is not PC-based, or need to set up reports that other users will access and run.
