Learn how to create, edit, and manage your library of electronic PDF files. This course provides you with the basic knowledge you will need to understand how Adobe Acrobat documents are created from standard desktop applications. You will convert actual Word documents, PowerPoint presentations, and Excel spreadsheets to create electronic documents. Students will be introduced to the main methods of creating Adobe Acrobat PDF files then enhance those files using Adobe Acrobat, Acrobat Distiller, and Acrobat Catalog.
To benefit most, you will need a basic Windows knowledge, basic knowledge of the Microsoft Office applications, and a basic knowledge of how to create folders in Windows Explorer.
The student will be able to setup Acrobat print drivers and identify various ways to create and manage PDF files. They will gain a complete understanding of the Acrobat suite of products including Acrobat Distiller and Acrobat Catalog.
Those who are responsible for converting documents into Acrobat PDF formats or anyone interested in creating electronically distributed PDF documents.
